February 22 : Our Remembrance day

Dear friends
Every February 22 we remember the Founder of the Scout Movement and also his wife.
Baden Powell and Olave were an extraordinary couple who devoted a lot of time to the scouting and scouting movement, and who undoubtedly supported Esperanto not too publicly but privately because they saw in it a suitable tool for the mutual understanding of young people during international meetings.
SEL tries to follow that goal by showing that Esperanto is suitable for this youth movement, and during this day we will also remember our dear pioneers and predecessors in our own league, who did not hesitate to work for the purpose of mutual understanding within the scouting movement and to bring to life the values of scouting within the Esperanto movement.
We must thank all of them because after more than 100 years our effort is still alive, and a lot depends on your support to keep it alive.
