Renewal of Local Representatives

This year Scout Esperanto League will renew all Local Representatives around the world. We aim to make the staff as young as possible for being more active.

The national representatives had their task at the level of an entire country, which for many people was a gigantic task and almost impossible to accomplish. That is why we have updated the situation to a more accessible level for the work of representation and dissemination of both Esperanto and Scouting, at a city, provincial or regional level, which will make the work of representing the League in scouting groups or Esperanto clubs much easier .
To be a Local SEL Representative, it is not necessary to belong  now or previously to any scouting association, although that is a plus.
It also doesn’t matter if your scout group belongs to WOMS, WAGGS, WFIS or WOIS, or to any other organization because our goal is not to establish a separate organization but only to invite language practice and international exchange between scouts.
Knowledge of Esperanto is desirable, but not mandatory. To improve this last situation we can help to improve the level of knowledge of Esperanto.
