NICARAGUA SCOUTS BANNED!!

Daniel Ortega’s regime closed eight NGOs, including the Scouts Association, a fraternity of Catholic missionaries and three religious associations, according to an official resolution published this Friday (02/16/2024).

The organizations allegedly fell into “non-compliance” with their financial reports, and after the cancellation of their legal status, their assets will pass to the State, states the decision of the Ministry of the Interior, published in the official newspaper La Gaceta.

The entity pointed out that the Scouts Association of Nicaragua, which had been registered since 1979, did not report its financial statements between 2020 and 2022 and had an “expired” board of directors since September 2020.
